Each custom piece is created to reflect the moments, places, and people that mean the most to you — whether it’s a favorite view, a cherished memory, or a glimpse of everyday life you never want to forget. I love working closely with each client to thoughtfully design a piece that feels personal and true to them. Together, we’ll bring your vision to life through conversation, inspiration, and care — creating not just a beautiful painting for your home, but a meaningful experience you’ll always remember.

How does it work?

Step 1: Review the sizing and pricing list below to see which option works best for you!

Step 2: Fill out the order form when you are ready.

Step 3: Karah will email you with availability and a quote for your approval. A $200 deposit is required to book. Payment plans available.

All paintings are created with professional oil paints on high-quality canvas and include a consultation to plan your artwork, choose your reference photos, and finalize details.

For Homes, Venues, Landscapes, Florals, other subject matter

Additional Portrait & Pet Fee: 

If your painting includes up to 2 people or pets, there will be a Portrait/Pet Likeness Fee

Portraits and pets require significantly more detail and likeness accuracy, which is why they fall into this premium category.

  • Additional Subjects:

    • Additional person: +$150 each

    • Additional pet: +$125 each

FAQS

  1. How does the 200 deposit work? By placing a deposit down on a commission, you are reserving a spot for a commission in the month you request. The painting will be delivered in that month. Deposits are the same for every reservation no matter the size of the piece and will be added toward the total cost of the piece. 

  2. How does Karah know what to paint?  The commission survey is the first step for your vision to come alive. Karah will then have a design concept call (or email confirmation for straight forward orders) with you to finalize before she begins painting.

  3. How much will it cost in total? Upon completion of the survey that is emailed to you immediately after purchase, Karah's team will send a final quote and invoice requesting 50% payment to begin project. Upon completion and customer approval, the final 50% and shipping will be due.*Remembering that the reservation deposit comes off the total cost of the commission.

  4. Will my piece be framed? If you then would like your piece framed, Karah would be happy to mail the commission directly to your framer.

  5. Do you work from photos? Yes! Even a simple phone photo can inspire a beautiful painting. Try taking photos in strong natural light and capturing natural movement rather than posed smiles. I often paint subjects from the side or behind to create a timeless, story-like feel. Backgrounds and colors can always be adjusted.

  6. What if I don’t know my size yet? No problem! You’ll have plenty of time to decide. I can also help — send photos of your space, and I’ll suggest the best size for your wall.

  7. Can you match my home colors? Absolutely! Send a few photos of your space, fabrics, or décor, and I’ll make sure your painting complements your style perfectly.

  8. What subjects do you paint? I love painting people, pets, landscapes, interiors, and meaningful places — anything similar to my past work. I don’t replicate exact pieces but can create something inspired by your favorites.

  9. Do you ship? Yes! I ship across the U.S. and Canada. Shipping rates depend on the size, and I’ll provide an estimate once your piece is finalized. Local delivery is also available.

  10. How do I book a spot? Fill out the order form, approve your emailed quote, and pay the $200 deposit that will be emailed to you. Once your painting is complete, you’ll get preview photos for feedback before the final payment and delivery.
